  • Page 5 Caution points for disassembly and assembly • Before loosening the screws on the rear cover, use a brush (such as a soft toothbrush) to clean on and around the rear cover so that dust or dirt does not enter the module. •...
  • Page 6 4-2. Coperchio posteriore • After removing the rear cover, use a soft cloth to remove any dust or dirt from the pac- king seal’s contact area. Do not use a cloth that easily becomes pilled or fuzzy. • A piezoceramic element that is used for the alarm function is attached to the back side of the rear cover.
  • Page 7 4-4. Battery clamp plate • Insert the tweezers into the battery clamp plate like figure below, and put it away from the battery. (the direction of the arrow.) • When removing or re-assembly the battery clamp plate, be careful not to touch the electronic components.
  • Page 8 • After inserting the new battery, use tweezers to short the two soldered spots at the cir- cuit board’s reset terminal. This resets the system. Fig.- 2 How to resets the system • When the system is correctly reset, the display goes blank and then reappears as shown below.

    Checks to be performed after replacing battery Be sure to perform the following repair checks. 5-1. Clock setting Go to "Time Set" mode and use the SELECT button and SET button to set the correct time and date. Note that these buttons may not operate correctly if the module was not secu- rely fastened before fastening the rear cover.
