I recently purchased an S6 and I cannot get it to go over 22 mph. I tried holding the break for 10 seconds then turning the unit on and that did nothing. Is there something else I can try to get the speed higher than 22 mph. Is my controller is bad? Thank you.
To increase the speed of your AMYET S6 above 22 mph, you can:
1. Switch to electric drive mode (P10 = 1), which uses the throttle and ignores pedal assist limits.
2. Ensure the speed limit is adjusted or disabled in the controller settings (note that speed limits set in kilometers may not match correctly when using miles).
3. Use dual motor mode for more power.
4. Ensure the battery is fully charged and warm, as cold batteries reduce performance.
5. Ride downhill or with wind support to exceed normal top speed.
