    2 . 2 Material Options Supersoft Spacer Parasilk Quilted Polyester Mesh Polyester Solid Material Benefits The material is quick to dry and can be submerged in Polyester Solid water along with being extremely tough, lightweight, and flexible, reducing shock while loading. The mesh version of the polyester material adds an additional benefit of assisting in body temperature regulation and provides some breathability.

    User Instructions Prior to use: - Ensure you are aware of the Lift manufacturer’s fitting instructions. Inspect the sling for wear and damage, with particular attention being paid to the body of the sling, webbings, and stitch lines. b. If the sling is fitted with a head support, ensure the 2 head stays are fitted in the head pockets. If following inspection, there is any doubt, (points 1-2) the sling should be placed aside and not used, then reported.

    3 . 2 How to Fit from a lying position. Using good manual handling techniques roll the person towards you so that they are positioned on their side. To introduce the sling, roll half of the sling up under itself so that when the person is rolled onto their opposite side, the sling can be unrolled until it is flat.

    Daily Checks Inspection is to be completed prior to each use by the user of the sling. Should any of the components in the table below fail the inspection, DO NOT use the sling.     Cleaning To reduce the risk of cross-contamination it is recommended to clean the sling before use by a different person. To ensure proper care of the sling and maintain its longevity, follow these washing guidelines. 7 . 1 Washing guidelines The sling should be laundered with soap or detergent at a temperature of 50°C.

    Servicing To ensure the safety and continued good function of your sling, it is recommended to have a competent person perform routine maintenance every 6 months, this will ensure that the product meets the required standards. It is important to document the maintenance history of the product in the log located at the back of this user manual after each service.
