stabilization, Dynamic IS delivers improved

Automatic Attenuator ensures optimal audio quality

HIGH DEFINITION MULTIMEDIA
INTERFACE TERMINAL (HDMI)
HDMI uses a single cable to transport a high-definition video
signal with audio to your HDTV. The latest version of HDMI
supports x.v.Color, which makes it possible to display rich-
er, more accurate color. Select VIXIA camcorders enable you
to convert captured 1080i (interlaced) to 1080p (progressive)
video for output via the camcorder's HDMI terminal.* 1080p
output offers smoother, more natural reproduction of moving
objects such as fast-action sports.

Recording TELE MACRO
With Tele Macro, the camcorder automatically
zooms the lens to full telephoto and changes the closest
focusing to 1.3 feet — the ideal setting for ultra-close-up
shooting. Conventional camcorders set the minimum focusing
distance to approximately three feet at the telephoto end of
the zoom range, making it difficult to use the lens's full magni-
fication power. You can use Tele Macro to capture spectacular
close-ups with shallow depth-of-field.
