2 DESCRIPTION 2.1 Theory of Operation With separate control valves, the spray air and the material feed rate can be adjusted. They enable an infinitely variable fine adjustment according to the respective application. The telescopic cylinders guarantees the hermetic separation of sealant and compressed air, whereby the medium evenly on the surface to be coated without air bubbles, or is sprayed. By pulling the trigger a compressed air cushion is built up behind the telescopic piston and the cartridge is squeezed out. -

4 INSTALLATION 4.1 Environmental and Operating Conditions – Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and UV radiation! – The equipment should be installed in a dry, dust-free place. 4.2 Connection • Connect the air pressure supply here. • Screw dispensing nozzle 7b hand-tight onto cartridge. • Insert cartridge into the air dispenser. • Screw black collar 6b onto dispenser and thighten it when dispensing a bead is recommended. 5.3 Start-up for spray dispensing The TEROSON ET Multipress has a dual-circuit air system. Supply pressure should be at least 7 bar (100 p.s.i.). Higher air pressure is reduced automatically. • Screw air nozzle 7a onto blue screw collar 6a. Flow of material and flow of air can be adjusted independently of one another by means of the adjusting knobs. -

5 OPERATION 5.4 Start-up for bead dispensing When you release the trigger 5 the pistol is vented–the media flow stops, it is vented with a hissing sound. • Adjust red knob 2 to produce required bead pattern. Turn left = Increase pressure Turn right = Decrease pressure Dispensing beads: 6 MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE – Lightly grease the seal ring on the cartridge tube that seal against the cartridge nut. – O ccasionally clean the filter sieve in the air inlet. For this purpose unscrew the compressed air supply (plug-in pin) and remove the sieve. -
