Cleaning Instructions
Soap and water is recommended for cleaning this product. Cleaning should be done with moist, clean cloths and then
wiped to dry. Isopropyl alcohol wipes may be used as an alternative. Do not use bleach or hydrogen peroxide on this
product.

Leveling
The Abdominal Caliper has a built-in level. If you desire to use the level,
the bubble must be oriented perpendicular to the measurement arm.

NOTE: It is strongly recommended to store the bulb in a position flat
against the measurement arm when not in use.

Abdominal Caliper
The subject should lie down on an exam table in supine position.
Place base of caliper beneath subject's back with measurement arm
above subject's abdomen.
Slide measurement arm to rest upon subject's abdomen.
Read the scale along the upper (highlighted red) edge of the
measurement arm.
Remove bulb by carefully sliding upward.
Turn bulb 90 degrees and slide it back onto measurement arm.
