Model J00111 User’s Manual Introduction The Lafayette Pinch Gauge was designed as a diagnostic tool to measure the strength of different pinch applications. Lafayette Hydraulic Pinch Gauge Service Tips The Lafayette Pinch Gauge is designed to provide reliable service, with minimum maintenance, over a period of many years. To make sure the instrument is reading accurately, it’s a good idea to make a few checks, occasionally, as listed below. Calibration The instrument is calibrated at the factory using a custom calibration device. - Page 7 Model J00111 User’s Manual Zero Reading The gauge needle may be above or below the zero reading upon receipt of the instrument.
