Introduction The Oxlife Independence is a portable oxygen concentrator used on a prescriptive basis ® by patients requiring supplemental oxygen in a home, office or institutional environment or in a vehicle/mobile environment. The device delivers 87%-95% pure oxygen to a patient through a standard single lumen nasal cannula.
Device Settings Continuous flow settings of 0.5 to 3.0 LPM. Pulse dose settings of 0.5 to 6.0 in the following volumes: External Power To use the AC power supply, connect the power cord to the AC power converter (brick). Then connect the power supply to the Independence and wall outlet.
Installing/Removing Battery Hold the battery as shown with pull tab up and the battery connection to the bottom and install into the back of the device as shown. The battery will drop down slightly and click into position. Battery Operation Times Battery charge status is displayed on the control panel and on the battery.
If the device has not connected within 15 minutes, power the device off and remove all power sources (batteries, AC/DC power supply). Provider Screen Press and hold the Mode button and Down arrow button simultaneously to enter the provider screen. Device status and language setting can be accessed from this screen. Service Mode Screen Press and hold the Up and Down arrow buttons simultaneously to access the service mode screen. Device run hours can be accessed from this screen.
