- Page 3 B A S S M A N C O M P ® Designed specifically for bass, the Bassman Comp is a studio-style compressor pedal that evens out your bass’s dynamic range, creating a more consistent output level by taming the difference between high- and low-volume signals.
- Page 4 OUTPUT JACK Low-impedance output connects to amp or next pedal in signal chain. INPUT JACK High-impedance input for bass guitar and other instruments. PAD SWITCH Switch on side of pedal is for active instruments with strong signals; UP position applies -6dB to input. DC POWER CONNECTOR Connect DC adapter here.
- Page 5 INTERNAL TRIM POTENTIOMETERS (ACCESSIBLE BY REMOVING COVER) Remove cover using a flat-head screwdriver. MANUAL RELEASE trim potentiometer determines release time when Release Switch is at UP position. Turn clockwise for longer release time; counterclockwise for shorter release time (factory position is full clockwise). ATTACK trim potentiometer determines compressor attack time.
