- Page 2 Mounting the DCX housing Insert the bottom screws into the rack or cabinet as shown (use #12-24 or #10-32 machine screws provided in the hardware kit). Leave ¼ ” of the screw exposed. Install the housing into the rack and position the bottom slots of the mounting bracket onto the installed screws. These screws will carry the weight of the housing during the installation.

Opening the tray Hold the sides of the tray with both hands. Pull the tray from both sides into the patching position. = Tray will lock itself once in patching position DCX 1U-2U-4U QUICK START GUIDE PX107647-EN REV B Page 4 of 9... - Page 5 To open the tray completely, squeeze both front latches and pull both sides of the tray. = Stop pulling the tray once it encounters resistance To close the tray, apply slight pressure upwards onto the front of the tray (highlighted in black) using your fingers and push the tray into the panel until patching position is reached.
