How do I pack my travel ropot100 for travel? We will be on the road for 8 hours before camping for the following 5 days. Does the filter need to be removed for one day of travel? If yes, how do I store the filter while traveling? This filter is only about 1 month old and has been used daily.

For one day of travel, you do not need to remove the filter. However, for extended non-usage (more than 3 days), follow these steps:
Before departure: 1. Ensure enough water is in the tank. 2. Press the Flush button for a 30-second backflush. 3. Unplug the unit. 4. Use the filter wrench to remove the filter. 5. Drain water from the filter by pressing down the three holes at its bottom. 6. Store the filter in a refrigerator at around 41°F/5℃.
For one day of travel, these steps are not required.

Reverse Osmosis filter, which could potentially cause diminished flow rates or a total loss of flow. Recognizing when to descale your Bluevua system is crucial. Descaling is necessary if the filtration time for one tank exceeds 20 minutes.

PRECAUTIONS Keep Out of Children's Reach: Ensure that the descaling powder, as well as the system during the descaling process, is out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion or other safety risks. Timely Maintenance: Do not delay the descaling process if the system's flow rate has significantly reduced.

PRECAUTIONS Temperature Check: Ensure the water used for descaling is warm (no more than 120 degrees F), not boiling. Extremely hot water could potentially damage the unit. Proper Disposal: Dispose of the water used in the descaling process properly. It may contain substances harmful to plants or aquatic life.
DESCALING PROCEDURE TDS / ppm 1. Press both the water volume and water-making buttons at the same time to initiate a 60-second backflush to depressurize the filters. For earlier models without this feature, restart the unit to auto-backflush.

DESCALING PROCEDURE 2. Use the towel to avoid splashes when you turn the filters clockwise to remove them. To install the descaling kits, align the little triangle icon on the descaling kit with the filter base, and then turn counter-clockwise until the indicators align.

DESCALING PROCEDURE 3. Fill the tank up to the MAX line. Add 1 packet of the descaling powder to the water, stirring until fully dissolved.

DESCALING PROCEDURE TDS / ppm 5. Reactivate the unit to finish filtering the descaling solution. Afterward, transfer the water from the carafe back to the tank for a second filtration cycle.

DESCALING PROCEDURE 6. Discard the descaling solution from the tank and carafe, flush the system with 3 full tanks of tap water, discarding after each. Then, remove the descaling kits, replace with the filters, and your descaling process is complete.
