    Liberty 3: How To playlist. Unboxing Your Liberty 3 Each Anchor Audio product is carefully inspected at the factory and packed in specially designed boxes for safe transport.     TECHNOLOGY Liberty 3 systems include the features that you want, in a configuration that will last, and that's easy to use. To keep it simple, we build the Liberty 3 four ways: Hub, Connect, Link, and Basic. You can tell which model you have by looking at the back panel.

    • LINK refers to joining Anchor Wireless microphone with your Liberty 3 audio unit. • CONNECT refers to joining other Anchor Audio units with your Liberty 3 audio unit. Note that your Liberty 3 system is a series 3 system. You can only connect with other Anchor Audio series 3 speakers.

    SYSTEM PLACEMENT Where you place your Liberty 3 depends on the space you’re in. For a single speaker, place the speaker in front of you. See the illustration below. CORRECT INCORRECT For use on a football field, place the speakers facing the audience, with receivers 300’ (or less) away from the transmitter.

    BASIC OPERATION Before using your Liberty 3 with battery power, please ensure your unit is charged. To charge your internal battery, plug the power cord into the Power Outlet on the speaker, and plug the other end into an AC outlet. Keep the Main Power button off to charge the internal battery.

    Pair Your Device To pair a Bluetooth device, follow the steps below. 1. After the Liberty 3 is powered up, tap the Pair button on the Bluetooth controls. This will turn the Bluetooth functionality on and you will hear a boot-up sound.
  • Page 11 3. When the device has successfully paired with your speaker, you will hear a soft beep and the Status LED will change to a solid blue. Now you can play audio from your Bluetooth device on your Liberty 3. You can adjust the volume by using the Main Volume knob on the speaker, as well as the volume control on your Bluetooth device.

    Bluetooth. To avoid interrupting your audio stream, set your device in airplane mode, then enable Bluetooth. When you are connected to the Anchor Audio speaker, you will not encounter any interruptions in your audio stream.

    LINKING YOUR WIRELESS MICROPHONES Liberty 3 Hub and Link models can link up to four Anchor Audio Series 3 Wireless Microphones. Handheld wireless mics and belt pack wireless mics are each a little different to link and unlink. Follow the short video and directions for your microphones in the sections that follow.
  • Page 14 Series 3 Microphones To identify a Series 3 wireless microphone, check the label on the bottom of the handheld microphone or belt pack. The top line on the handheld label will include a product number that ends with a 3 (or 3E for European microphone), as shown in the example below.

  • Page 19 Unlink a Single Wireless Belt Pack Microphone To unlink a single wireless belt pack microphone from the Liberty 3, watch this short video and follow the steps below. Once a microphone is unlinked, you will have to repeat the link steps to use it with the speaker again.

A: To achieve minimal interference, we designed AnchorLink 3 to perform outside of the ability of other wireless microphones.     CONNECTING SPEAKERS TOGETHER If you own a Liberty 3 Hub or Liberty 3 Connect, your speaker has AnchorFlex 3, the transceiver technology that allows you to connect multiple Anchor Audio speakers together for greater area coverage. This unique feature allows you to change the speaker from a receiving speaker to a transmitting speaker, configuring systems for your current needs on the fly.
  • Page 24 Setup The Main Unit To connect your speakers, start by designating your Main Unit. This is the speaker that will connect all other units and the speaker that your microphones should link to. 1. Power off the Main Unit. Then power it up. 2.

    ANCHORFLEX FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: How does the AnchorFlex wireless connection work? A: Simple! AnchorFlex 3 can operate as a transmitter or receiver. When one unit is set as a transmitter, and one or more additional units are set as receivers, and those units are connected, the transmitter will send audio to the receivers, and all will play the same sound.

    ANCHORPOWER AnchorPower is the key to Anchor Audio systems. It includes the batteries, gauges, and the way power is managed in your system. All Liberty 3 models include two internal Lithium-Ion batteries, which give it approximately 8-10 hours of playtime when fully charged.
