Wireless Speaker Microphone (cont.)
Speaker: Delivers received speaker audio - Normally mutes when inserted into gateway, mobile or
desktop charger or Earpiece is plugged into 3.5mm Earpiece Jack.
Headset Port: Use with X10DR optional headsets/accessories fitted with Hirose HR10 Plus connectors.
Use disable internal speaker. External battery connects here.
DC charging: Handset beeps to notify correct seating when handset first placed in gateway or
charger. The handset's status LED will blink every 10 secs to indicate "charging" status. Solid blue
means complete. Handset sounds 3 short beeps every 5 minutes when charging is required.
Mandown Monitor Mode
the XLR Wireless Mic is removed from its gateway/charger and disabled when placed back in. When
active, if there is no user movement or transmit activity for 2 minutes, quickening alert tones will
sound for 30 seconds. If there is still no user movement, the radio's emergency input will be triggered.
To temporarily disable Mandown operation, power up the XLR Spk Mic while pressing the orange
Emergency button - release as soon as tones sound. A 'gentle reminder beep' will sound every 2
minutes until re-enabled by powering Off/On the XLR Wireless Mic or placing it back into a charger
and then removing.
GATEWAY CHARGER
Function Button:
Long Press front to manually power Off/On.
Fast double press for Find Me™ - Short press to reset.

Fast triple press to enable gateway Touchless pairing.

Status LED:
Glows solid when operational. Flashes when handsets are "out of range" or off. Flashes
blue/Red when Find Me™ is activated.
Antenna Connector:
3.5mm Jack : Provides line level 180mVRMS receive audio out. For use with PA or Recording Systems.
External battery:
Simply plug in a USB cellphone style external battery power
bank via the optional XEBC battery adaptor cable to the headset port. The
handset LED will 'blink' every 10 seconds to indicate it is being re-charged.
You can continue to use the handset as normal.

Power On: 2 Sec press Grey Button to turn ON. Tones sound.
Toggle PTT: Short press side Grey button to assign Radio PTT or Off-network
Local Talkaround PTT to the black PTT button. A confirmation beep will sound
and Status LED will change between Yellow with a periodic Blue flash for
Radio PTTor a Yellow with Green flash for Talkaround PTT. If Auto Relay mode
is disabled, LED will glow either solid Blue or solid Green when connected to
vehicle gateway. or flash if no connection.
Emergency:

Long Press Orange button, a confirmation beep will sound
before triggering host radio's emergency function. Hold button pressed as
per mobile radio's emergency operating instructions or as advised.
Search: Long Press Yellow button to connect to in-range gateway/handset.
Relay Off/On: Long Press - Disables/re-enables Automatic Relay Mode.
Volume Up: Short press top Blue button to adjust speaker louder.
Volume Dn: Short press bottom Blue button to adjust speaker softer.
Power Off: 2 Sec press bottom Blue Volume Down button. Tones sound.
OPERATION:
Status LED: Indicates connection status - See Status LED color scheme.
NOTE: If Wireless Mic is operational but the Status LED does NOT glow, it
means the internal Li-Ion battery has "swollen" and needs to be replaced.
Microphone: Talk at your normal voice strength about 1-3cm (~1") from
Microphone port.
: Press To Talk. Out of range tones sound if no connection.

Handsfree: double press the side PTT button when it is assigned for
Talkaround PTT. A reminder beep will sound every 30 seconds. Single
