Sending Files Using a Di rect Cable Connection

There are two ways to send files from the NEO to your computer:
• You can use a USB cable to connect the NEO to your computer. Then, you
can send the files via the cable connection. See the instructions below.
• You can send the files using infrared beaming. See page 11.

Connecting Your NEO to a Computer Using a USB Cable

1. Plug the thin, rectangular end of the USB cable into the computer's USB
port.
2. Connect the smaller, square end of the cable into the computer port along
NEO's top edge A .

3. On Windows computers, you may be prompted to install a driver the first
time you connect your NEO to the computer with a USB cable. If so,
accept the default values in the Wizard and click Next > in each panel.
When you've finished, restart the computer.
4. NEO will automatically change modes to prepare to transfer files, and the
screen will display one of the following messages. If you don't see the
appropriate message, check your cable to make sure it's properly
attached to the computer and the NEO.
