Hygiene programmes
In the Hygiene programmes the temperature is held constant for a longer period
of time to deactivate micro-organisms, e.g. germs or house dustmites and also
reduce the number of allergens in the laundry.
These programmes should not be interrupted as this would prevent the
micro-organisms from being deactivated.
Cottons hygiene - Normal (drying level)
Fabric type
Cottons and linen fabrics, which will be in direct contact with the
skin, e.g. underwear, nappies, towelling, bed linen, pillow and
mattress covers.
Note
Only for drying fabrics which can withstand higher temperatures
and which have the q symbol on the care label.
Minimum iron hygiene - Normal (drying level)
Fabric type
Minimum iron items made of synthetic or blended fabrics, e.g.
skirts, shirts and blouses.

Timed drying hygiene

– 6 kg* of items made of cotton or linen fabric.
