ISSUE:
Factory radios on 2014 and newer Harley-Davidson
systems use a "high fidelity" EQ curve. This EQ will cause
excessive distortion with any amplified audio upgrade and
will lead to speaker damage.
SOLUTION:
Authorized Rockford Fosgate Motorcycle Dealers can
"flash" your factory radio to remove this EQ.
WHAT TO DO:
Have your nearest Authorized Rockford Fosgate Motorcycle
Dealer "flash" your radio. Factory Harley-Davidson
can no longer perform this software update. Find a dealer
at www.rockfordfosgate.com/dealerlocator. For more info
