    Warning! • ONLY use this tool kit for its intended purpose, connecting the low or high-pressure service port on air-conditioning systems using R1234yf refrigerant. DO NOT use it on A/C systems running on any other refrigerants. • ONLY use the RED coupler on the HIGH-PRESSURE service port. ONLY use the BLUE coupler on the LOW-PRESSURE port.

    Operation Setup 1. For the following operations, aside from this tool kit, you will need a manifold pressure gauge, a vacuum pump, refrigerant, and connecting hoses. 2. Turn the knobs on the high and low-pressure couplers counterclockwise to fully seal them. Do the same for your manifold gauge. 3.
  • Page 5 Damaged Valve Core Removing 1. Follow the steps in Diagnosing the A/C System to check that there is no refrigerant remaining in the system. If not, follow the steps in Evacuating Refrigerant & Contamination to evacuate the system. 2. Remove the couplers by pulling their sleeves back. Locate the valve core and select the right tip of the provided valve core remover.
  • Page 6 When the readings comply and stabilize, turn the lever/knob on the tap clockwise to fully seal the can. Turn the low-pressure knob on the gauge to close it. Do the same for the high- pressure knob. 10. Turn the blue coupler knob(low-pressure) counterclockwise to fully close it. Pull its sleeve up, releasing the coupler from the vehicle’s service port.

    Maintenance • Replace the rubber protective cap on the side ports after each use. • Clean the exterior of the tool using a soft damp cloth after use. Do not use abrasive cleaners or caustic chemicals. • Lubricate moving parts with vacuum grease as needed. Periodically check the O-rings inside the connections of each piece.
