    4. INSTALLATION AND OPERATION FLOOR-STAND (OM-200F) 4.1.1 BASE INSTALLATION To assemble the microscope base, 4 wheels and 4 counterweights must be fitted. The wheels are assembled by screwing the bolt into the ends of the base as indicated in the following figure.

    MANUAL DE USUARIO / USER MANUAL – MICROSTAR Once the weights have been mounted, the plastic base cover must be placed on the base, as indicated in the following figure: 4.1.2 COLUMN INSTALLATION Once the wheels and the base cover are placed, the column must be mounted on the base. Install the column in the central axis of the base, as is indicated in the following figure: Tighten the set screw with an Allen wrench.

    MANUAL DE USUARIO / USER MANUAL – MICROSTAR The column has to be mounted in the right position, as indicated in the following figure: Column Top Column Bottom 4.1.3 FOREARM-COLUMN INSTALLATION Place the forearm on top of the column, then tighten the screw in order to solidly attach the forearm to the column.

The Wall-stand support should be settled on high resistance walls only. It should not be settled on a hollow brick Wall or on walls of 15 cm or thinner thickness, gypsum boards, wooden partition, or any other low resistance material.

    10) Continue by following the steps on 4.4. section for head, binocular, eye pieces installation. CEILING-STAND (OM-200C) ECLERIS does not provide the materials nor the instructions for the ceiling support install and are not responsible for its incorrect installation or physical/material damage caused by improper fixing.
  • Page 17 MANUAL DE USUARIO / USER MANUAL – MICROSTAR Use metal expansion plugs for concrete of an admissible minimum tensile load of at least 8kN each. 2) Unscrew the 3 internal telescopic column screws using a 3/16’’ Allen key. 3) Fix the column firmly to the ceiling-support base. 4) Slide the plastic cover through the column, from the extreme to a desired height.
  • Page 18 MANUAL DE USUARIO / USER MANUAL – MICROSTAR 5) Now install the telescopic column through its cover. Previously make sure to dis-adjust the 3/16’’ Allen screws. 6) Place the security screw and washer on the end part of the column. Adjust using a fixing key of 14 mm.

    MANUAL DE USUARIO / USER MANUAL – MICROSTAR Place the thick washer (A) on the 60º joint elbow. Dis-adjust the progressive brake (G) completely setting it to the minimum level. Then install the elbow on the microscope arm. Continue placing the fine washer (B) on the arm, as the previous picture.

After the joint is centered and the flat portion is against the head, press the adjustment screw so that the binocular remains firmly attached to the head.

    MANUAL DE USUARIO / USER MANUAL – MICROSTAR 5. OPERATION - FUNCTIONS MICROSCOPE OPERATION This section describes the equipment functioning procedure. The device shall only be operated by personnel trained in the use of this type of microscopes. 1) Connect the power supply cable to the microscope and then to the mains. 2) Press the power switch on the forearm to turn the unit on (the green indicator light will turn on).

    LIGHT SOURCE The Ecleris Microstar OM-200 Microscope has a light module integrated to the microscope’s optical head. From this module you can turn the light on or off, vary its intensity, select different diaphragm levels to reduce the illuminated field and select different light filters.

INSTALACION Y PUESTA EN MARCHA 4.1 ESTATIVO DE PISO (OM-200F) 4.1.1 INSTALACION DE LA BASE Para ensamblar la base del microscopio se deben colocar 4 ruedas y 4 contrapesos. Las ruedas se montan enroscando el perno de la misma en los extremos de la base como indica la figura siguiente.

    USER MANUAL / MANUAL DE USUARIO – MICROSTAR Una vez colocados los pesos, se debe montar el cobertor plástico sobre la base de la columna como indica la siguiente figura: 4.1.2 INSTALACION DE LA COLUMNA La columna se debe instalar sobre la base, una vez que están las ruedas y el cobertor colocados. Para instalar la columna se debe colocar la misma sobre el eje central de la base como indica la siguiente figura: Ajustar el tornillo de fijación con una llave Allen.

    USER MANUAL / MANUAL DE USUARIO – MICROSTAR La columna tiene que ser montada en la posición correcta, como se indica en la siguiente figura: Columna Parte Superior Columna Parte Inferior 4.1.3 INSTALACION DEL ANTEBRAZO A LA COLUMNA Colocar el antebrazo en la parte superior de la columna, y luego fijar el tornillo para que el antebrazo quede fijado sólidamente a la columna.

    USER MANUAL / MANUAL DE USUARIO – MICROSTAR 4.2 ESTATIVO DE PARED (OM-200W) Antes de proceder a la instalación del estativo de pared, debe determinar la altura adecuada para su fijación y la correcta nivelación. El estativo de pared deberá colocarse únicamente en paredes de alta resistencia. No se lo debe instalar en paredes de ladrillo hueco o de espesores menores a 15 cm, placas de yeso, tabiques de madera o cualquier otro material de baja resistencia.
  • Page 55 Antes de perforar la pared verifique que la nivelación sea correcta 6) El estativo de pared debe permanecer firme. ECLERIS no es responsable por los daños físicos y/o materiales que pudieran ocurrir debido a la incorrecta fijación del estativo a la pared.

    10) Siga con los pasos en la sección 4.4 para la instalación del cabezal, binocular y oculares. 4.3 ESTATIVO DE TECHO (OM-200C) ECLERIS no provee los materiales para la fijación del estativo de techo y no es responsable por su incorrecta fijación o cualquier daño físico y/o material que pudiera ocurrir debido a su incorrecta fijación.

  • Page 58 USER MANUAL / MANUAL DE USUARIO – MICROSTAR 5) Inserte la columna telescópica a través de su cobertura desajustando previamente los tornillos Allen de 3/16’’. 6) Coloque la arandela y el tornillo de seguridad en el extremo de la columna. Ajuste con una llave fija de 14 mm.

    USER MANUAL / MANUAL DE USUARIO – MICROSTAR 9) Desajuste los 3 tornillos Allen de 3/16’’ del extremo de la columna. 10) Coloque el brazo del microscopio como se muestra en la figura. Debe obtenerse un calce perfecto con la columna. Ajuste los 3 tornillos del extremo de la columna con una llave Allen. 11) Siga los pasos 5 a 9 de la sección 4.4 para la instalación del cabezal, binocular y oculares.
  • Page 60 USER MANUAL / MANUAL DE USUARIO – MICROSTAR Freno Progresivo (G) Coloque la arandela gruesa (A) en el perno del ángulo de 60º. Desajuste el freno progresivo (G), deberá colocarlo al mínimo nivel. Luego coloque el ángulo de 60º al brazo del microscopio. Continúe colocando la arandela fina (B) en el brazo, como se ve en la imagen anterior.

    USER MANUAL / MANUAL DE USUARIO – MICROSTAR Coloque el tornillo tensor (D) y ajústelo a su máximo utilizando una llave Allen correspondiente según la imagen a la izquierda. Tornillo embellecedor Tornillo seguridad (F) Coloque el tornillo embellecedor (E) y ajústelo completamente. Finalmente ajustara el tornillo de seguridad (F), también hasta su máximo.

    USER MANUAL / MANUAL DE USUARIO – MICROSTAR Si el microscopio dispone de sistema de video, monte sobre el cabezal el sistema de video, y luego monte el binocular. En ambos casos el tornillo de ajuste debe ser liberado para encastrar las partes.
  • Page 63 USER MANUAL / MANUAL DE USUARIO – MICROSTAR El cable especialmente diseñado contiene 1 ficha HDMI macho para conectar al sistema de video, y 2 fichas de alimentación DC-PLUG para alimentar el sistema de video y la luz integrada.     5.3 FUENTE DE ILUMINACION El Microscopio Ecleris Microstar OM-200 dispone de un módulo de luz integrada al cabezal del microscopio. Desde este módulo se puede apagar o encender la luz, variar la intensidad de la misma, seleccionar diferentes niveles de diafragma para disminuir el campo iluminado y seleccionar diferentes filtros de luz.

Seguidamente posicione el brazo en posición horizontal utilizando el freno superior (a una altura media) y ajuste o desajuste la compensación del brazo utilizando una llave Allen, de forma que ajuste el balance adecuado del brazo y los accesorios instalados.
