Using the Configuration Menu

Tools > Firmware

select the updated firmware file that you downloaded from

Click Browse:

support.dlink.com

after you have selected the file, click OK

Click OK:

Tools > Misc

Telnet Settings

Select Enabled or Disabled

Status:

Select the Timeout period after which your Telnet session will log off.

Timeout:

Click Apply for changes to take effect

Apply:

Telnet - you can manage your network remotely using this DOS-

based program.
