- Page 2 Assembling the Edger Attachment 1. Pull the protective caps off of the ends of the shaft and keep them in a safe place for later use. 2. Insert the shaft into the gearbox with the screw holes alligned. Insert and tighten the screw to secure the shaft in the correct position 3.
- Page 3 Working with Edger Attachment An arrow on the deflector shows the correct direction of rotation of the cutting blade. The arrow on the deflector must always face away from you, so that cuttings and other debris will be diverted away from the machine and your position.
