  • Page 9: Charging The Drivepro Body

    To charge the DrivePro Body, you can either:  Connect the USB cable to the DrivePro Body 40 and a wall outlet using the included 5V/2A adapter.

  • Page 10: Recording Mode

    Video files recorded in Recording mode are saved in the “VIDEO” folder and will be overwritten with loop recording enabled. DrivePro Body 40 saves video files every 3 minutes automatically. (The default recording length is 3 minutes.) Note The loop recording is disabled by default and can be enabled via the DrivePro Body Toolbox.

    3-3 Recording Videos with Infrared LEDs At night or in low light conditions, DrivePro Body 40 will automatically activate the Infrared ● LED mode; the four Infrared LEDs will light up. You can also long-press the Snapshot button to turn ON/OFF the Infrared LED mode manually. Please keep the DrivePro Body 40 at least 50 centimeters from the object to avoid misjudgment of the light condition due to short-distance infrared reflection.

    5. Audio Recording To use this feature, you need to configure it through the DrivePro Body Toolbox. Change ● the setting for long-pressing the Snapshot button from enabling the Infrared LEDs to controlling the Audio Recording function. The audio files will be stored in the "AUDIO" folder.

    Bluetooth team sync is available on DrivePro Body 30, 40, 60, and 70.  Bluetooth quick wakeup is available on DrivePro Body 40 and 60. 7. Using the DrivePro Body App The DrivePro Body App, developed for iOS and Android devices, allows you to watch live-view videos and adjust camera settings wirelessly on your smart devices.

    7-2 Connecting to the DrivePro Body App 1. Tap “DrivePro Body” App and turn on Bluetooth. Select DrivePro Body 40 on the App.
  • Page 15 2. Power on the DrivePro Body by long pressing the Power button. Tap Next to continue. 3. Long press the Status button until you hear a beep. Tap Connect on the App to connect to Bluetooth. After hearing three beeps, you can take snapshots, switch recording modes, or adjust settings via the App.
  • Page 16 4. Tap Browser or Live View to connect to Wi-Fi named “DPB40_XXXXXX” with the default password “12345678”. Note We recommend changing the DrivePro Body's Wi-Fi password the first time you connect to the app.

    7-4 Playing Videos and Browsing Photos To play videos and browse photos, tap Browser on the Homepage, or tap the top left corner first, then tap Tap the icons at the bottom to play recorded videos or browse photos. While playing a video, you can trim and download the desired segment (10s, 20s, or 30s) without downloading the entire clip to your phone for editing.

    8-3 Settings On the Settings page, you can adjust the Device, Video, and Video Stamp settings. Device Settings Function Description / Options Time Zone Select your time zone. Click the “Set” button to sync the time of the device with the PC. Sync time with PC Switch GPS on/off.

    8-4 Tools On the Tools page, you can upgrade firmware to the latest version, format disk or reset DrivePro Body to its default status. Tools Function Description / Options Firmware Ver Upgrade your firmware to the latest version available. Set a password to protect the drive of your body camera. Password Password should be between 8 to 16 characters, either letters or numbers.
