    Connection When connecting to EVS, you need to connect the IN port on the ESS and the SAS port on the EVS. ESS3124S-JR ESS3124S-JR has one controller, and it can only connect to single controller target devices. Single controller ESS3124D-JR ESS3124D-JR has two controllers, and it can only connect to dual controller target devices.

    Operation Installing Disks It is recommended to use disks with same model and capacity in one ESS. The enterprise level disks are recommended.     Turning on and off Turning on You must turn on the ESS first, and then the target device. Connect the power cable and the eSATA cable properly, and then press the ESS power button. The RUN light on the rear panel flashes, which means the ESS is successfully turned on. Turning off You must turn off the target device first, and then the ESS.
