Operation Installing Disks It is recommended to use disks with same model and capacity in one ESS. The enterprise level disks are recommended. Single controller network video storage devices support SAS disks and SATA disks. Dual controller network video storage devices support SAS disks. ... -

Turning on and off Turning on You must turn on the ESS first, and then the target device. Connect the power cable and the eSATA cable properly, and then press the ESS power button. The RUN light on the rear panel flashes, which means the ESS is successfully turned on.
