Fitting the child car seat to your vehicle:
20: Adjust the handle to vehicle/Carry position (a) (refer to steps 10).
Position the child car seat on the vehicle seat, pass the vehicle waist belt through
the side vehicle belt guides (b) and fasten the vehicle belt buckle (c).
Route the diagonal belt under handle hinge (d) then through rear vehicle seat
belt guide (e).
Tension the vehicle diagonal belt (f ).
Activate the side impact protection system on the out board side of the vehicle
(g) (refer to step 8).
IMPORTANT: The position of the vehicle belt buckle can affect
the stability of the child car seat. In an accident this could stop
the child car seat from protecting your child as well as it should.
After tightening the vehicle belt, if the buckle lies in the position
marked then try fitting the child car seat in another seating
position in your vehicle. If in doubt consult either the child car
seat manufacturer or retailer.
Removing softgoods:
21: Open the harness (a) (refer to step 3).
Remove the crotch pad (b) & seat liner (c) (if applicable).
Remove the chest pads (d).
Remove the hood (e) (refer to step 12-14).
22: Remove the headrest cover (a, b).
23: Remove the seat cover (a - e).
Refitting is a reversal of this procedure.
Checklist:

intended vehicle?

If applicable, is the air-bag de-activated?
•
Is your child car seat correctly fitted to the vehicle seat?
•
Have you check the position of the vehicle belt buckle?
•
Is your child correctly secure in the child car seat?
•
Are the vehicle belt and harness adequately tensioned and not
twisted?
