PUTTING INTO SERVICE 2/2 NOSE ASSEMBLIES Stroke adjustment It is essential that the correct nose assembly is fitted prior to operating the tool. By knowing the details of the fastener to be placed, you will be able to order a new complete nose assembly if required. This adjustment is necessary to ensure optimum insert deformation.
SERVICING THE TOOL MAINTENANCE Every 500,000 cycles the tool should be completely dismantled and components replaced where worn, Regular servicing should be carried out and a comprehensive inspection performed annually or every damaged or when recommended. All 'O' rings and seals should be replaced with new ones and lubricated 500,000 cycles, whichever is sooner.
