Safety and Care WARNING – Fire Hazard Keep the PowerStand out of direct sunlight and extreme heat. In rare cases, the mirrors on the attached HyperCube can focus sunlight into a point that could cause burns or risk of fire.
The PowerStand is a battery-powered wireless stand for the HyperCube Nano. Your cube (sold separately) will plug and clip into the PowerStand, transforming it into a fully portable piece of immersive art. You will no longer need to use the Control Box originally supplied with your HyperCube Nano.
Or follow the instructions below. Push the connector from the HyperCube Nano through the hole in the PowerStand Top Half. Do not force it – rotate the plug until it easily fits through. Pull the cable all the way through. Rotate the PowerStand Top Half until the cable strain relief coming out of the cube easily fits through the hole in the PowerStand Top Half.

Plug the HyperCube Nano connector into the socket in the PowerStand Bottom Half. Tuck the cable inside the PowerStand Bottom Half, beside the circuit board. Continue coiling up the wire inside the enclosure. Place the PowerStand Top Half (with HyperCube attached) on top of the Bottom Half a.
Twist the PowerStand Top Half clockwise until it locks into place. The Top and Bottom Halves should be tightly connected, with no visible gap between either half on any side. Flip the power switch on [“–”] – let there be light! You may need to charge your PowerStand prior to first use.

Simply unscrew the small screw holding the clip in place, then screw a new clip in. Be sure that is fully screwed down, and the surface of the clip is flush with the surface of the PowerStand arm.
HyperCube! Setup The PowerStand is a new device and will need to be connected to your home network. If your HyperCube Nano was connected, it will now be listed as “offline” (as long as its controller is unplugged).

Enter your home WiFi credentials press Press “Add New “Connect!”. All fields are Hyper-Device” case sensitive Your phone must be connected to this network. Note: if the connection fails, press “Can’t Connect?” at the bottom of the screen and follow the instructions.

Accept any permissions and allow your phone to connect to the HyperCube WiFi network channel Wait for the connection process to finish. This could take up to one minute You may go back at any time to re-enter your WiFi credentials or restart the process.

Trouble connecting? Refresh: If the connection process finished but the cube isn’t showing up, refresh the device list by swiping down anywhere on the screen If this does not work, power the cube off and on, then reset the cube’s WiFi by holding the button on the control box for 10s (until the LEDs in the cube flash red then green) Repeat steps 1-7.
This will leave you connected to the HyperCube WiFi channel. Attachment The PowerStand can be hung or secured by the M5 screw inset on the bottom of the stand. Use a screw no longer than 10 mm. Troubleshooting Trouble connecting to the app? Try the alternative connection process here.
Want to connect an additional device to the PowerStand? You can control one PowerStand from multiple devices. If you have already gone through the initial setup process once, on your new device simply swipe down on the main device list page to refresh. You may need to refresh multiple times, and wait up 1-2 minutes.
