SPECIFICATIONS
• Cast aluminium outdoor fitting, toughened glass lamp cover, mounting bracket and spike.
• Supply: 240V/AC, 50Hz
• Lamp type: GU/GZ10 240V Max 50W or CFL-GU10
• Protection against electric shock: Class 1 - therefore must be earthed.
• Supply Cable (complete with 2m cable and connection box, supplied): use 3 x 1mm
conductors.
• Temperature Range: -20° <to< +40°C
• Ingress Protection: IP67
TO BEGIN INSTALLATION
• Ensure mains supply is switched off.
• For safety, and in order to avoid unexpected damage to the product, please install a safety
device when installing this product, for example, a two-pole fused 6Amp switch, etc.
• Make connection to the electrical supply in accordance with the following code: the terminal
connector is located in the square connection box, supplied (attached to cable).
LIVE – Brown or Red.
NEUTRAL – Blue or Black.
IP67
EARTH – Green and Yellow.
• Ensure that a minimum distance of at least 300mm between the light and any flammable
surface.
• Do not operate the fitting without the glass safety shield, or cracked or broken glass safety
shield. If cracked or broken, the glass safety shield should be replaced before further use.

INSTALLATION
To mount in ground
1. Choose suitable location, and make a hole 82mm in diameter, and a minimum of 170mm
deep.
2. To flush mount the fitting with the surface, open the top 10mm of the hole to a diameter of
108mm.
3. With the glass cover, stainless steel surround and aluminium fixture removed, install plastic
sleeve securely in ground, secure aluminium fixture onto sleeve. Fit glass with seal, and
stainless steel surround.
