TOOLS NEEDED: 1. Plastic Trim Tool 2. Wire Fishing Tool 3. Diagonal Cutters 4. 7/64” Drill Bit or Unibit 5. 3/8” Drill Bit or Unibit 6. Phillips Bit with Bit Holder 7. 10mm Driver Bit 8. Unibit or 7/64” or 3/8” Drill Bits 9. - Page 4 RAM Promaster HD Camera Package INSTALLATION GUIDE CAMERA EXTENSION HARNESS FITTING INSTRUCTIONS Harness Routing Overview Monitor Camera Connector Connector STEP 1: Start on the driver side at the upper rear most opening on the pillar. Route the end of the harness with the shorter speaker lead towards the front of the vehicle, keeping the cable in the channeling.
- Page 5 STEP 2: While routing the cable from rear to front, attach it to the vehicle chassis using zip ties or similar, as shown below (A.). Continue routing the cable forward and fasten it to the vehicle chassis above the driver seat shown below (B.).
- Page 6 FULL VIEW MIRROR / HARNESS FITTING INSTRUCTIONS STEP 1: Using a wire fishing tool, route the 12 Pin connector side of the FVMONUN02HAR harness from the rear of the headliner to the front of the headliner at the windshield, just in front of the overhead courtesy light. Leave enough of the cable hanging the out by the windshield to connect to the back of the mirror.
- Page 7 STEP 3: Remove the three panels down the passenger side floor line by removing the 13 Phillips head screws shown below. 4 screw covers will need to be removed to gain access to the screws below them. STEP 4: Next, we will connect and route the FVMONRPM-PWR-HAR Rev B harness. Start by connecting the Tyco 15 pin portion of the T-harness to the upfitter connector. NOTE: All connectors may not be used if there is not already a harness connected at this location. - Page 9 STEP 5: Locate the 2 pin connector on the FVMONRPM-PWR-HAR Rev B and route it up the B-Pillar and on top of the headliner towards the center of the vehicle to where the mirror cable was previously ran. STEP 6: Connect the 2 pin connector from the FVMONRPM-PWR-HAR Rev B to the mating 2 pin connector on the FVMONUN02HAR (A.).
- Page 10 STEP 7: Remove the factory mirror (if equipped) by grabbing the mirror at the base near the windshield and twisting it counter clockwise to the 10 o’clock position. Once in the 10 o’clock position, pull towards the rear to remove. STEP 8: At this time and depending on your vehicle application, it may be necessary to install a vehicle specific mirror mount to the HD mirror monitor.
- Page 11 STEP 10: Connect the 12 pin connector to the back of the mirror. At this time, ensure that the flip dimmer located on the bottom of the mirror is flipped towards the passenger compartment (rear of the vehicle). HD CAMERA FITTING INSTRUCTIONS STEP 1: Using the EM-AHD-RPCH template found on page 15 of this manual and a marker, mark the three locations to be drilled to mount the camera.
- Page 12 STEP 2: Using a standard drill bit or Unibit (step bit), drill the three holes using the diagram below for sizing reference. 3/8” 7/64” 7/64” STEP 3: Route the camera cable into the vehicle and secure the camera to the vehicle with the supplied screws.

- Page 14 Operating Instructions The vehicle ignition is required to be on for the unit to operate. The mirror will turn on and off with the key of the vehicle. When the mirror is on, pressing the “MENU” button or flipping the flip switch at the bottom of the mirror will turn the display off and on.
