OREiN Bathroom Exhaust Fan With Light
Question 1:
How to adjust the ceiling hole?
Answer:
①Hold the housing up to the hole to check that your fan fits. If the hole is too small, trace
the housing onto the ceiling and then cut the ceiling with a keyhole saw.
②If the hole is too big, you'll need to patch the ceiling. Cut a piece of drywall to make the
ceiling hole the right size for your fan. Attach the drywall filler to a larger piece of wood; set
it in the hole and drive screws through the ceiling into the wood. The patched areas can be
repaired with spackling compound later.
Question 2:
The light does not work.
Answer:
① Make sure you are using a non-dimmer switch and that the switch contact is good.
② Make sure that the cables to the light and fan are properly connected. And this product
only works with 120V.
③ Make sure the wire connecting the lampshade to the housing is well inserted.
④ If that's still not helpful, please contact Customer Service, OREiN will provide after-sales
service.
Question 3:
The fan seems louder than it should.
Answer:
①CFM too great. Be sure the CFM rating on the fan matches the size of your room.
②Damper not working properly or damaged. Check damper to ensure it is opening and
closing properly. If the damper has become damaged, please contact Customer Service.
③Bend in duct too close to fan discharge. Be sure you do not have any sharp bends in duct
closer than 18 in. to the fan discharge.
④Fan discharge reduced to fit smaller duct. Use recommended size ducting to reduce fan
noise.
