    1. General 1.1 Introduction The level gauge manufactured by WISE Control Inc. is installed outside of vessel or tank which has containing fluid. Fluid enter to level gauge attached outside of vessel or tank, and the level of the fluid stored inside the vessel or tank is checked.

    3. Principle and use of the product The glass type level gauge manufactured by WISE Control Inc. is used to check the level of fluid in a vessel or tank by allowing fluid inside the vessel or tank to enter the level gauge.

Pre-operation checks (Warming up) 1) Warm up for approximately 80 minutes until the temperature and pressure of the installed level gauge match the temperature and pressure of the tank or other vessel where the level gauge has been installed.

Option_Illuminator If the Illuminator has attached to the level Gauge, check the below precautions for installing the insulation. Check the operating temperature in the drawing or data sheet, and if the operating temperature is over 80 ℃, install the insulation only up to same height as the body so that the insulation does not cover the illuminator.

Troubleshooting If the level of fluid is not visible through the glass cover of the level gauge even after the level gauge has been installed, please check the following. 1) Confirm that the block valve on the vessel and the gauge valve of the level gauge are open. (The fluid will not enter the gauge is the block valve and gauge valve are closed.) 2) When installing and operating, check if rapid ingress of fluid has triggered the check ball.

Basic matters The glass and gasket of the level gauge are consumables and must be replaced regulalry. (Depending on operating conditions, replacement is required every 1 to 2 months, or up to 6 months.

(See <Figure 2>) <Figure 2> 2) Fasten the bolt and nut manually, without using tools. 3) Using a torque wrench, fasten the bolt and nut in three increments from 200 kgf·cm (20 N·m) to 400 kgf·cm (40 N·m) First increment : 200 kgf·cm (20 N·m) Second increment : 300 kgf·cm (30 N·m)
