811 Series Trim Installation Refer to Fig. 1 & 2 • Blu recommends that a test fit of all trim pieces takes place prior to securing to the valve. • Remove the mud guard (A) and slide the escutcheon cover plate (2) over the volume control sleeve until the plate contacts the finished wall surface.

821 Series Trim Installation Refer to FIg. 3 & 4 • Once the escutcheon cover plate (2) is secured, place the diverter handle (4) onto the threaded sleeve and secure by screwing the knob tightly into place. It is recommended that a plumber’s tape or light adhesive be used on the the threaded portion prior to securing the diverter knob to ensure that accidental removal does not occur.
Calibrating the Valve CAUTION: RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY. The installer must calibrate this valve to minimize the risks of scalding. After calibrated, the valve limiter provides 100ºF (38ºC) at first stop position, and prevents the temperature from exceeding 113ºF (45ºC). The maximum water temperature should never exceed 120ºF (49ºC) Shut off the HOT and COLD water supply at the service stops.
