Get the Most
Out of Ice
Use Block Ice
For best air conditioning results, use block ice
or a refillable container such as the IcyBlocks.
It's recommended to use 1/4 cup of salt per
gallon of water in the IcyBlocks. If using a
combination of freezer packs/frozen bottles/
IcyBlocks and ice, place the packs into the
bottom of the cooler before adding any ice on
top.

Pre Chill the IcyBreeze
and Its Contents
To achieve the longest ice life, pre-chill the
IcyBreeze the night before it will be used by
filling it with ic . Before using it the following
day, add fresh ice to the pre-chilled cooler.
Pre-chill food and beverage items before
adding them to the cooler as well. Hot or room
temperature drinks will start the ice melting
process immediately.
Adding hot or room temperature water to the
IcyBreeze during the filling process will also
start the melting process faster than necessary.
