1. Locate the drilling position by the base plate, and use a Ø6 mm drill bit to drill
30 mm-depth guide holes on the ceiling
2. Knock the plastic anchors into the 3. Attach the camera to the base plate,
guide holes, and fix the base plate and rotate the camera anticlockwise
onto the ceiling with ST3.5 screws. until it is blocked.
4. Startup
Connect one end of the power adapter to the power interface, and the
other end to power supply to start up the camera. When the LED flashes
red, it means the camera started up successfully. Then connect the
camera to your network.
NOTE!
To reset the camera, press and hold the RESET button for about 8s.
5. Add Camera to App
NOTE!
• The camera can be added only on 2.4G Hz Wi-Fi network.
• It is recommended to sign up for an account before adding the camera.

NOTE!
• The maximum capacity of the Micro SD card (user supplied) is 256GB.
Do not hot plug the Micro SD card, otherwise the data of the SD
card may be lost.
• When installing the Micro SD card, please keep the gold contacts
upward as shown in the figure below.
• The network interface is not available to all models.
1. Download app.
Scan the QR code below (or Search BASIC 2 (in app stores) to do-
wnload and install the app.

2. Signup and login.
Sign up for an account and log in. If you already have an account,
log in directly.
3. Add device.
Open the BASIC 2 app, and tap Add Device.
• Scan QR code.
Tap Scan, and scan the QR code on the camera body or on the quick
guide, then follow the app wizard to add the camera.
• Add Wi-Fi device.
NOTE!
• The following operations may be subject to change due to the upgrade
of the app. If you find the descriptions inapplicable, please follow the
in-app instructions.
• Please connect your mobile phone to the Wi-Fi in advance, and keep
the mobile phone close to the camera.
• Do not use the network interface on your camera (if available); otherwise,
Wi-Fi connection may fail.

NOTE!

3. Mount Your Camera
Before installation, make sure the ceiling is strong enough to hold the
camera. Please prepare hardware accessories separately such as drill
bit. The following takes ceiling mount as an example.
