Cleaning, Maintenance & Service It is very important to clean and maintain the grease filters regularly (at least once monthly) to improve its efficiency in eliminating heat and contaminated air in the kitchen. Heavy oil deposits is a fire hazard. Hood surface should be cleaned with soft cloth and non-corrosive detergent.

For this appliance to function effectively, regular maintenance is a must. Clogged filters restrict airflow and may cause the motor to overheat.

5. Installation Use suitable bolts to mount the appliance on a secure surface. The minimum distance between the supporting surface for the cooking vessels on the hob and the lowest part of the range hood. When the range hood is located above a gas appliance, this distance shall be at least 65 cm.

Air ventilation setting ⚫ Outdoor exhausting: Turn the adjuster to outdoor position(pic.7A), install the outlet, turn on the cooker hood, then the air will be vented from the outside outlet. ⚫ Recycling: the recycling mode with carbon filter ,Turn the adjuster to indoor position (pic.7B), install the outlet cover, turn on the cooker hood, then the air can be vented from the inside outlet.

Installation (Vent inside) If you do not have an outlet to the outside, exhaust pipe is not required and the installation is similar to the one show in section “Installation (Vent outside)”. Activated carbon filter can be used to trap odors. In order to install the activated carbon filter, the grease filter should be detached first.
