1. SAFETY
1.1. ELECTRICAL SAFETY
WARNING! It is the user's responsibility to check the following:

Check all electrical equipment and appliances to ensure that they are safe before using. Inspect power supply leads, plugs and

all electrical connections for wear and damage. Sealey recommend that an RCD (Residual Current Device) is used with all
electrical products.
Electrical safety information. It is important that the following information is read and understood:
Ensure that the insulation on all cables and on the appliance is safe before connecting it to the power supply.

Regularly inspect power supply cables and plugs for wear or damage and check all connections to ensure that they are secure.

Important: Ensure that the voltage rating on the appliance suits the power supply to be used and that the plug is fitted with the
correct fuse.
DO NOT pull or carry the appliance by the power cable.

DO NOT pull the plug from the socket by the cable.

DO NOT use worn or damaged cables, plugs or connectors. Ensure that any faulty item is repaired or is replaced immediately by a

qualified electrician.
If the cable or plug is damaged during use, switch off the electricity supply and remove from use.

Ensure that repairs are carried out by a qualified electrician.
1.2. GENERAL SAFETY
DO NOT use for extracting materials with a temperature above 40ºC.

NOTE: Use on flat, level and stable surfaces in use and during transport, servicing, assembly or disposal to avoid overturning,
falling or uncontrolled movements of the appliance or of its component parts.
▲ DANGER! DO NOT extract hot or glowing ash, cigarette ends, inflammable, explosive, corrosive or other dangerous substances.
DO NOT use to extract soot.

DO NOT use as a seat as this may damage the unit.

DO NOT operate the unit in rooms where the danger of an explosion exists. The dusts, vapours or fluids can ignite or explode.

DO NOT use to extract the following health hazardous dusts:

Class L (soft woods and solid surface material), Class M (hard woods, board materials, concrete and brick dust),
Class H (asbestos and mould).
DO NOT operate the extractor without the filter in place. Using the unit without the filter may result in motor failure and will

invalidate the warranty.
DO NOT operate the unit to attempt extraction of inflammable or explosive fluids such as benzene, oil, alcohol, or solvents.

DO NOT place the attachments close to your face.

DO NOT point the hose end at other persons or animals.

DO NOT leave the extractor running unattended. Turn the power supply OFF when not in use.

DO NOT operate the extractor while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or intoxicating medication.

DO NOT use the extractor in the rain or in very damp conditions.

DO NOT use the extractor for a task it is not designed to perform.

Disconnect the extractor from the power supply before servicing, changing accessories, or performing and maintenance.

Provide good ventilation of work place.

Use only genuine parts and accessories. Unauthorised parts and accessories may be dangerous and will invalidate your warranty.

Maintain the extractor in good condition. Use authorised qualified agent for servicing.

Empty and clean the extractor after each use.

When not in use store the extractor in it's original packaging in a clean, safe, childproof location.
