SAFETY
This manual should be considered an integral part of the machine and should be carefully reviewed and stored for subsequent
reference.
1.1.
GENERAL SAFETY
Children from age 8 years and above, persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities those with lack of experience and

knowledge can use the appliance, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way to
understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and user maintenance on the appliance shall not be made by children without supervision.

The appliance shall be disconnected from its power source during service and when replacing parts.

DO NOT operate the machine while people, especially children, or pets are nearby.

DO NOT overreach whilst using the machine, and keep balance at all times.

Always be sure of your footing on slopes and when walking with the machine. Never run.

Always wear substantial footwear and long trousers while operating the machine.

Never operate the machine with a defective guard or shield, or without safety devices.

Avoid using the machine in bad weather conditions, especially when there is a risk of lightning.

Use hearing protection during use.

Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.

WARNING:This machine is not suitable for collecting hazardous dust.
WARNING: DO NOT use this machine in wet conditions.
NOTE: This machine can only be stored and used indoors.

WARNING: This machine is only used to remove dry dust and / or small debris from dry carpet or hard floor surfaces indoors.
WARNING: DO NOT use the machine without filters fitted correctly.
DO NOT limit the air flow of the vacuum cleaner. Maintain the vacuum cleaner regularly so that all filters and openings are free of dust,

fluff, hair build up, or anything else that could affect the airflow. See the maintenance checks in this article
DO NOT use machines to collect flammable or flammable liquids, such as gasoline. DO NOT use them in areas where they may exist.

DO NOT suck up anything that burns or smokes, such as cigarettes or hot ash.

DO NOT vacuum hard or sharp objects, such as glass, nails, screws, etc.

Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts of the body away from moving parts and openings.

Keep the machine, battery pack and battery charger away from heated surfaces.

DO NOT handle the machine, battery pack or battery charger with wet hands.

Remove the battery pack from the machine when not in use, before servicing, or before replacing filters and accessories.

After use, it should be stored in a suitable place to prevent tripping accidents.

WORK AREA SAFETY
Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.

DO NOT operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools

create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of

electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
DO NOT expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.

Power tools can produce electromagnetic fields (EMF) that are not harmful to the user. However, users of pacemakers and other similar

medical devices should contact the maker of their device and/ or doctor for advice before operating this power tool.
1.4.
PERSONAL SAFETY
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool.

DO NOT use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while

operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid safety shoes,

hard hat or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting the battery packs or picking up or carrying the

tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energising power tools that have the switch on inv`ites accidents.
DO NOT overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
