CS-100 overlay replacement instructions
This document provides instructions on how to replace the pre-installed front overlay of the
Enphase CS-100 with a spare front overlay.
Tools needed
Number T15 Torx screwdriver
Isopropyl alcohol
Lint-free cloth
Straight-bladed tool (e.g., panel removal tool, standard head screwdriver, or a pocketknife)
Instructions
1.
Turn off the power.
a. Before starting the work, turn off the circuit breaker to ensure no power flows into the EVSE.
2.
Access the enclosure.
a. Use a T15 Torx screwdriver to remove the two machine screws from the left side of the
enclosure.
b. Locate the hidden latch on the underside of the enclosure, inside the connector
compartment. Unlatch it to access the internal components.
c. Open the front door of the CS-100 enclosure.
3.
Disconnect the COSMOS ribbon cable.
a. Remove the ribbon cable from the COSMOS board. This cable connects the front overlay to
the internal electronics.
