INTRODUCTION The method of treatment for various conditions falling in the preview of physiotherapy using a specific frequency of sound is called ULTRASOUND THERAPY. The sound waves which can be heard by human ears are called audio waves (about 20 to 20000 Hertz) and which cannot be heard (above 20 Kilo Hertz) are called Ultrasound waves. - Page 4 absorb less.
