Installation Slim SATA drive (height 12.7 mm)
1.
Mount your Slim SATA drive in the top case. Therefor you need to insert the
drive that it can slide into the SATA connector. This works best when you
insert the drive diagonally or pull the board with the SATA connector a bit out
of the case.
2. Now you can mount the bottom case. This part just needs to be put on the
top case and push it together till it snaps in.
3.
Connect the USB cable with the enclosure and an available port of your
computer.
4. Switch on your computer.
5. The external drive will be recognized and you can start using the device
immediately.
Installation Ultra Slim SATA drive (height 9.5 mm)
1. At first you need to remove the three holders on the top case. These are
marked with the scissors
2. Mount your Ultra Slim SATA drive in the top case. Therefor you need to insert
the drive that it can slide into the SATA connector. This works best when you
insert the drive diagonally or pull the board with the SATA connector a bit out
of the case.
3. Now you can mount the bottom case. This part just needs to be put on the
top case and push it together till it snaps in.
4. Connect the USB cable with the enclosure and an available port of your
computer.
5.
Switch on your computer.
6. The external drive will be recognized and you can start using the device
immediately.
Note
The Delock enclosure doesn't have an eject button.
