UNPACKING THE PHYSICAL SENSOR

SETUP PRECAUTIONS AND CONSIDERATIONS
WARNING:
Before you do the procedures that follow,
make sure that you disconnect AC and DC power.
WARNING:
Before you connect the sensor to its power
source, make sure that you have read the installation
instructions.
WARNING:
Do not use water, or other liquids to clean
the sensor. Only use a clean, dry cloth.
WARNING:
If different from the one provided,
the power source must be LPS/PS2 rated 12VDC 3A
maximum.

residential environment, it might cause radio interference. In
this case, you might have to take appropriate action.

To prevent the sensor from overheating, do not
operate it in an area that exceeds the maximum recommended
ambient temperature. (See below.)
