IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions must always be observed:
1. Read all instructions carefully before using the device and keep it for future reference.
2. This appliance is intended for normal household use only.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person. who
is responsible for their safety.
4. Supervise young children to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
5. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons before further use to avoid a hazard.
6. This appliance is equipped with a safety switch that prevents operation unless
accessories are securely installed.
7. This device has a high temperature protection mechanism. If the temperature becomes
too high, the unit will automatically shut down and resume operation once the motor has
cooled down sufficiently (after about 15 minutes).
8. DO NOT operate the unit for more than one minute at a time.
9. If the operation is not completed within 1 minute, turn off the machine and allow it to cool
for 10 minutes before performing the next round of use. If more than 5 rounds of operation
are required, allow the machine to cool to room temperature for 90 minutes before the next
5 rounds. This can extend the life of the machine.
10. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is in operation.
11. To protect against the risk of electric shock, fire, or personal injury, do not immerse the
power cord, plug, or motor base in water or any form of liquid.
12. Unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning.
13. Do not immerse the motor base in water or rinse it under tap water.
14. Do not push the food with fingers or other objects (such as knives), always use the
included food pusher for adding food.
15. Exercise extreme caution when handling blades and inserts, especially during assembly
and disassembly, and when cleaning after use. Knives are very sharp.
16. Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or counter, or to touch a
hot surface.
17. Do not place the appliance near a gas outlet, electric burner or heated oven.
18. Wait until all parts have stopped working/moving before unplugging the appliance and
removing the bowl.
19. Ensure that the capacities shown in the Specifications section are not exceeded.
20. Always use a reliable, grounded power supply to operate the device.
21. The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote control system.
