    Front Panel High Gain Input - Input for passive basses. Tip: If you have an aggressive playing style and you use a passive bass, you may find that the LOW GAIN input will offer more clean headroom. Low Gain Input - Input for active basses, attenuated 6dB.

    It is perfectly normal for power tubes, like the EL34s in the VB-2, to emit a soft blue glow. Don't pull out tubes if you don't have to. If you constantly pull the power tubes out of the amp it will wear down the tube pins, which will cause loose connections.
