    SETTING UP THE SCREEN continued... SETTING UP THE PROJECTOR The installation distance between the unit and a screen varies depending on the size of the screen. Install this unit so that it fits the size of your screen.

    PROJECTION MODES Your projector can be set up in different ways (see pictures below). NOTE: If mounting on the ceiling, you’ll need a projector mount to install it properly. Go to Home screen > Setting > Option > Projection Mode to adjust how the image is projected according to your setup.

    MAKING ADJUSTMENTS To reduce image distortion, it is recommended to move the projector as close to centre of screen. If you cannot install the projector squarely facing the screen, correct any resulting keystone distortion using the keystone adjustment control. VERTICAL ADJUSTMENT Please follow the below diagram for vertical adjustment.
  • Page 10 MAKING ADJUSTMENTS continued... ADJUST FOCUS AND KEYSTONE Adjust the focus by turning the knob while observing the image near the centre of the screen. Optimal focus is obtained when the image is visible and sharp. Depending on the projected screen size, the focus near the screen edges may be less sharper than the screen centre.

    REMOTE CONTROL Precautions When Using Batteries: • Always insert the batteries in the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated. • Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries. • Keep batteries away from children and pets. • Keep the remote control away from devices that may cause interference, such as other remote controls, electronic devices, or strong magnetic fields.

  • Page 15 TURN ON/OFF • Connect the power cord to the power adaptor. • Connect the power adaptor to the projector and then to a power outlet. • Press the Power button on the projector or on the remote control to turn on/off. Note: Please turn off the projector before unplugging the power source, so as not to affect the life and operation of the projector.

    HDMI CONNECTION • Turn off the unit before connecting the HDMI cable (not included). • After connecting, turn on the projector. • Press the Source button to switch to HDMI mode and the video of HDMI device will show on the projector screen. If you connect your device to the projector using the HDMI 1 port, select HDMI 1 as the input source and so on.
  • Page 17 AV CONNECTION • Turn off the unit before connecting the AV cable. • Use AV cable to connect as shown in the below illustration. • After connecting, press the Power button to turn on the projector. • Press the Source button and select AV.

    DVD PLAYER DVD PLAYER • Open the DVD compartment and insert a DVD. • Press the Source button and select DVD to switch to DVD mode. Alternatively, while on the main interface, press DVD button on the remote control. • To exit the DVD mode, press the SOURCE button and select a different mode.

    USB CONNECTION • Turn off the unit before connecting a USB flash drive. • After connecting, turn on the unit. • Use /// navigation buttons to select File Manager icon; press OK to enter. • Select Movie, Music or Photo; press OK to enter.
  • Page 20 WIRED AUDIO CONNECTION • Turn off the projector before connecting the cables. • Connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the Headphones socket in the projector. Connect the other end to an external speaker. • After connecting the cable, turn on both units. If required, switch to correct input source on the external speaker.

    BLUETOOTH AUDIO This projector allows you to output all sound to a connected Bluetooth speaker or audio device. • Enable Bluetooth mode on the speaker you wish to output the projector audio to. • On the projector’s home page, select Bluetooth Settings.
  • Page 22 WI-FI • On the projector’s home page, go to Setting > Network > Wi-Fi Settings. • Scan and choose your Wi-Fi network. • Enter Wi-Fi password and connect.

    DIGITAL ZOOM Use the digital zoom settings, when you need to magnify the projected image without physically adjusting the projector’s position or lens. Go to Home screen > Setting > Option > Digital zoom.

    TROUBLESHOOTING NO IMAGE IS PROJECTED OR A “NO SIGNAL” MESSAGE IS DISPLAYED • Check the power light next to the power button is on and green. If it’s red, then press the power button to take the device out of standby.
