1. Flamingo Camera System 1.1 Product Overview and Components Flamingo is a high-definition camera that is designed to capture visual records in dental and surgical environments. The Flamingo camera kit consists of the following components: 1. Wi-Fi USB Universal Dongle and USB Port-A Adaptor 2.

1.2 Assembly Instructions Follow these 5 steps in order to assemble the Flamingo camera system: Begin by removing the protective foil from the battery terminals. Align and insert the battery into the power pack, ensuring the terminals correspond with the orientation depicted in the illustration.

Press the ON/OFF button located on the Power Pack under the Camera section to turn the Camera on. • The Flamingo logo on the Control Unit is illuminated in white. • A blue light begins to flash, indicating the system is loading.

2.3 Battery Charging Connect the AC/DC adapter to the charging stand. A blue LED indicates the charger is ready to receive the battery. Place the battery in the stand. A red light indicates that the battery is charging. A green light indicates the battery is fully charged.
3. Setting Camera Focus and Aligning the Field of View Flamingo integrates camera and light in a single unit, designed with a 2-degree angular offset. This ensures the camera's focus and the light beam converge at a standard working distance of 45-50cm, providing clear and focused illumination at the center of the viewing area.

Mount the camera on the loupes. Focus on an object, centering it in your view. An assistant should then adjust the camera until the object is located in the center of the Flamingo application. Secure the camera's position by tightening the mount screw.
4.1 Minimum System Specifications Flamingo software is designed to handle the real-time processing of high-definition videos. This requires a computer that meets the following specifications: Minimum PC requirements: • Operating System – Windows 10 or above. • Processor (CPU) – Intel Core i5 or superior, or AMD Ryzen 5 or higher.
Press the ON/OFF button on the Power Pack (refer to section 2.1). Wait until the blue light stops flashing. Launch the Flamingo application and check the connections (Battery, Pedal, Camera- shown in the picture below with red arrows) are secure by ensuring their icons are white in the app.

Keep the camera steady on the white target for three seconds to allow for recalibration. 5.3 Pedal Usage Each Flamingo camera system includes a pre-paired pedal. The pedal provides hands- free control during procedures, enabling you to pause and resume recordings along with audio cues indicating the recording's status.

Press the Pair button on the backside of the pedal and wait for the blue light to flash: Select Settings within Flamingo. Press Advanced Click Pair Pedal Upon pairing, a notification of "Paired successfully" will appear Check the Pedal icon- white means the pedal is connected.
6. Video Recording 6.1 Starting Video Recording Click the circular button in the bottom center to enter Recording Mode. The software will transition to a paused recording state, awaiting your command to start recording. Press the Start/Pause recording button. The button will flash, and a red bar will appear at the top of the screen to indicate active recording.

6.1 Recording Interrupted If the camera disconnects during recording, Flamingo automatically pauses and tries to reconnect and resuming recording. Flamingo will prompts you to name and describe the recording. In the event of a system failure or unexpected shutdown during a recording session with Flamingo, the recording currently in progress is automatically preserved.
