4. OPEN YOUR SAFE FOR THE FIRST TIME For EL+KL Variant: • A er unboxing the safe. Locate key pouch and 9V DC ba ery which is provided with safe. • Further to install the ba ery open the keypad cover by pulling keypad notch as shown below. -

6. CHANGING USER CODE / MASTER CODE In this electronic lock user can set one 6 digit user code and one 6 digit master code. Note 1: There is no procedure to factory default the lock. User needs to maintain at-least his latest master code always to change lock password configura on. - Page 7 9. A func onal key will be confirmed by a double signal. A key that was not iden fied is confirmed by a long signal and the func onal test is aborted.
- Page 9 13. EMERGENCY OVERRIDE KEY WITH KEY RETAINED PROVISION It is recommended to use Emergency override key in case electronic lock failure only. During emergency you can do following sequence: Access the ba ery compartment by pulling the keypad cover. Locate the key hole at the center of ba ery compartment. Insert the key into cylinder and rotate it Clockwise.
