    Original Instructions DESCRIPTION OF THE SYMBOLS Symbols are used in this manual to attract your attention to possible risks. The safety symbols and the explications which accompany them must be perfectly understood. The warning themselves do not prevent the risks and cannot be a substitute for proper methods of avoiding accidents.

    Original Instructions Before using the equipment Battery charger (Fig.1) The lithium-ion battery can be charged at any time and will not develop a “memory” when charged after only a partial discharge. It is not necessary to run down the battery pack charge before recharging. Remove the battery pack from the tool when convenient for you and your job.

    Original Instructions • Avoid oil spillages. Always wipe up spilled oil. • Check the oil level indicator (B) to make sure sufficient chain oil is available for lubrication. • Unscrew the oil tank cap (A). Before opening, clean the tank cover and filling nozzle if necessary.
