How do I get the water flow valve in my De Longhi Specialista to stop delivering water down to the tray below? It won't turn off and I can't make any coffee! By the way, I changed my email from Hotmail to Gmail...Gmail is my new email account.

To fix the water flow valve issue in your DeLonghi Specialista that causes water to flow into the tray instead of making coffee:

1. Check that the water tank is properly seated. Press down lightly on the tank to open the valves at the bottom.
2. Ensure the valves at the bottom of the water tank are open.
3. If limescale is present in the water circuit, descale the machine as described in the “Descaling” section.

These steps help ensure water flows correctly into the coffee circuit instead of the tray.
