The Roma has a few different configurations. This manual is for configuration #1...

The Rise Roma is an extension for a base (single-level) Rise Garden. Do not use in conjunction with any other Rise Garden extensions (double- or triple-level).

If building a garden from Disconnect power scratch, skip this page. Disconnect garden from power by flipping switch on power supply or by unplugging power supply from wall. Remove top shelf cable from the protective channel in upright. Unscrew top shelf cable connector from control box.

If building a garden from Remove Top Shelf scratch, skip this page. Remove screw from each (4) corner of top shelf using allen wrench. Gently lift top shelf off of uprights and set aside.

Unpack Roma Extension Light bar Roma frame Frame trellis Roma upright extensions (left/right) Roma hardware kit Roma tip-prevention Allen wrench Screw cables (3/16”) (4x) (set aside)

Extend Uprights Align the dowels and grooves of each (4) Roma upright extension with upright, then lower Roma upright extension onto upright. Fasten each (4) Roma upright extension with a screw. Leave about an 1/8” gap. Do not tighten yet.

Install Frame Lower frame onto each (4) screw. Do not tighten yet. Frame trellis attaches magnetically to frame.

Add Light Bars to Frame Align the slot on each side of light bar with an untightened screw. Pull light bar forwards, over (2) screws. Let light bar engage fully with both screws, and tighten. Note: bottom of light bar hook rests on top of frame edge.

Add Top Shelf Align top shelf with dowels and lower onto uprights. Ensure that cable is on the right-hand side. Install a screw into the underside of each (4) corner of top shelf.

Route Cables to Control Box Tuck cable from top shelf and each light bar into uprights. Feed cables into the cabinet. Note: cable from one light bar will need to travel across the top of the cabinet from the left to right side.

If extending an assembled single-level garden, you have already done the next few steps. Skip to step 15. If you are building a fresh garden, continue.

Connect Tubing to Pump Uncoil tubing and feed into the raised hole on top water tray until the short segment rests in groove. The end of tubing should now be in water tank. Connect tubing to pump coupler. Push firmly.

Cover Water Tray Place tray lids on top of water tray. Place service door on left side.

Unpack Power Supply AC cable Base box E Power supply Plug AC cable into power supply.

Antenna and Power Screw antenna from hardware kit onto the connector on the right exterior side of cabinet. Route power cable out the hole in the back-right corner of cabinet floor, and connect to power supply. Do not connect the power supply to the wall, yet.

Identify Control Box Lights connect to the three rear-most plugs. By default, one socket is uncapped. To plug in an additional levels of lights, unscrew caps. Note: All connectors are keyed, if plug does not fit initially, gently rotate plug until keys line up and plug is able to be inserted into the socket.

Plug in electronics Plug cable from the top shelf into control box and screw in to secure. Note: All connectors are keyed, if plug does not fit initially, gently rotate plug until keys line up and plug is able to be inserted into the socket.

The Roma garden requires longer straps, provided with the Roma extension. If the Roma strap has loops, use the included pin to secure with the bracket provided with the base garden. To use the kits, loop the metal cable around each rear upright, just under the top shelf.

The control box should have a solid red light, indicating it is ready to connect via the Rise Gardens App. Monitor the garden for a few minutes to ensure there are no leaks. Check out our quick-start guide to get...
