5.4 Switching on the cooking zone
After having switched on the hob, select the required cooking zone using the appropriate zone selection
keys (for example
: rear right cooking zone). Using keys
and
the cooking power can be
selected ranging from 1 to 9, otherwise enable the power function, see "5.7 Power Function".
5.5 Switching off the cooking zone
After having selected the cooking zone you wish to switch off using the zone selection keys, return to 0
(zero) the power level value using key
to switch it off.
To switch off all cooking zones at the same time, hold down the On/Off key
for at least 2 seconds.
5.6 Residual heat
If the cooking zone is still hot after being switched off, the symbol
will appear on the display. The
symbol clears once the temperature drops below 60°C.
Supervise children carefully as they cannot readily see the residual heat indicator. The cooking zones
remain hot for a certain period of time even after they have been turned off. Make sure that children
never touch the hob.
5.7 Power Function
This function allows you to use the maximum possible power for the cooking zone.
After having enabled the cooking zone and reached power level 9, press key
. The symbol
will
appear on the display.
To disable the Power function press key
.
On the front left and rear right cooking zones only:
The Power function is available for 10 minutes, after which the power level drops automatically to 9.
5.8 Timer
This function is used to set a timer, which will sound a buzzer at the end of the pre-set time (from 1 to 99
minutes).
5.8.1 Setting the timer
After having switched on the hob, press keys
and
at the same time,
will appear on the
display.
Set the required timer time using keys
and
(hold the keys down to set the time more quickly).
Flashing dots will appear to indicate the count.
Using the timer does not switch off the cooking zones but rather informs the user when the set minutes
have run out.
The timer can be activated while the cooking zones are on or off.
