Changing the door hinging
Preparation
This tumble dryer is delivered with the
door hinging fitted on the left-hand
side. You can change the door hinging
over to the right-hand side.
To do this, you will need:
- A Torx T20 screwdriver
- A Torx T30 screwdriver
- A soft surface (e.g. a blanket)
For safety reasons, the tumble
dryer must be disconnected from the
electricity supply (pull out the plug).
Tip: Before starting work, read the fol-
lowing text and look at the images. Then
complete the following steps in the se-
quence described.
Removing the door
You will need a Torx T30 screwdriver.
Open the door of the tumble dryer
fully.
Use the Torx screwdriver to unscrew
the two screws on the base plate
of the door hinge.
The door cannot fall off.
Place the two screws on the lid of the
tumble dryer.
Take a firm hold of the door.
Pull the door forward so that you can
pull the two pins out of the base plate
of the door hinge.
To avoid scratching the door, place it
on the blanket outer side down.
