    2.0 SET-UP (FOR DEALER / DISTRIBUTOR ONLY) 2.1 ASSEMBLY OF THE MOBILE and TUB BASES The basic set-up steps are: 1. Set the Mobile Base to the appropriate height (Section 2.1.1) 2. Attach the Bridge to the Mobile Base (Section 2.1.2) 3.

    2.1.2 Setting up the Bridge The Trakz Bridge incorporates the heart of the patented Zbrilok™ (US Patent No. 11,819,466) system. Zbrilok™ prevents the seat from being released from either base unless the Bridge is connected to both bases. This unique design, exclusive to Trakz, prevents accidental release of the seat and potential injury from falls.

    Tool required: 5mm allen key, 10mm wrench 1. Trakz-AP – Remove the screws (2 per side) from the rear of the side castings. Align the back frame into the coved features of the side castings. Attach the 4 x 35mm socket head cap screws using a 5mm allen key.

    3.1 Mobility Base Configuration The base frame can be set up in either of two height ranges. 1. Upper range configuration allows for seat-to-floor height ranges of 56-66 cm (22-26”) for Trakz-AP. For Trakz-AT, seat-to-floor height ranges of 61.5-71.75 cm (24.25-28.25”).

    Upper Configuration (default) Lower Configuration 3.2 Mobility Base Height Adjustment To change the seat-to-floor height on the Trakz-AP and Trakz-AT model, the seat frame is raised or lowered using the adjustment knob located on the inside of the base frame.

    (Note: When re-inserting the pan, ensure that the pan is guided into the blue plastic brackets and pushed forward until it hits the stops.) IMPORTANT! A QUALIFIED RAZ DEALER SHOULD BE CONTACTED TO CHECK ALL FASTENERS, CASTER AND WHEEL LOCKS, HARDWARE, AND ALL OTHER MOVING COMPONENTS AT LEAST ONCE PER YEAR.

    Spray the frame and components with a multi-purpose disinfectant cleaner, scrub with a soft brush and rinse with water. It is recommended to the user that a qualified Raz dealer check over all fasteners and subassemblies on a continuing basis or if there is cause for concern to the shower chair’s performance.

    (2) years from the date of purchase. All other components on the Trakz-AP and Trakz-AT are covered for a period of one (1) year and are subject to normal wear and tear exclusions. If within such warranty period any such product shall be proven to be defective, the part will be repaired or replaced, at Raz Design’s discretion.
